No foul language towards other riders and be respectful.
Trail boss decisions are final.
Be saddled and ready at the time listed for the ride
No Dogs or Stallions
No riding double
Cantering will be controlled and at the discretion of the trail boss.
Ride waivers must be signed before you can ride. Online waivers are available here https://tinyurl.com/rmbchridewaiver
Follow Leave no Trace principals. Leave trailheads and parking lots CLEAN.
Do not park in car parking when trailer parking is available. Be kind to our other trail users.
If you arrive too late to ride on time the group will not be required to wait.
Please arrive ahead of ride time to allow for tacking up and safety briefing. In case of inclement weather, monitor email and facebook.
Last but not least, relax and enjoy your ride, the company of your mount and fellow riders!
ADDITIONAL WORK-RIDE RULES:
Read all details of your work ride.
Please be at work ride trailhead at least 30-45 minutes ahead of ride time.
Required safety gear must be worn while working. These include gloves, hat (baseball or cowboy OK), shatter-proof eye protection (prescription & sunglasses OK), appropriate shoes (no sandals).
Work rides are full day. You are free to return to the trailhead any time on your own but the group is not required to return with you.
Work rides often require the group to split up into smaller groups. If your equine is not safe when separated from the larger herd please wait for a ride where the whole group is always together.
Unless specifically noted, work rides are not training rides. If your equine is not ready for trail work, being stationary, around tools, mules, ATV's and other trail hazards, and many obstacles, please wait for a ride that is open for trail training.
Know your limits - physical, mental, riding abilities, equine abilities, tool abilities. Guides are there to show the trail but you are responsible for your health and your animal's safety at all times.
Each ride is different. Follow all Forest Service, trail boss, and safety assessment rules for the ride.
Do not touch other rider's personal tools. RMBCH has tools which they provide and you are also welcome to bring your own. People are not obligated to share their personal tools.
